Access and location
Where is Villa Favone located and how do I get there?
Villa Favone is located in South Corsica. The property is approximately 50 minutes from Figari Airport, 1 hour 35 minutes from Bastia Airport, 30 minutes from Porto-Vecchio port and 1 hour 45 minutes from Bastia port.
What is the nearest airport?
Figari Airport is the closest, approximately 50 minutes by car. Bastia Airport is approximately 1 hour 35 minutes away.
Is the beach within walking distance?
Favone beach, the nearest one, is approximately 700 metres away. The slope is steep and the road verges are not safe for pedestrians.
Is there sea access opposite the villa?
It is possible to reach the sea by crossing the road, then following a small path of approximately 100 metres leading to the rocks. The road crossing is not secured.
Nearby shops and services
Where are the nearest shops?
In Favone, approximately 1 km from the villa, a seasonal grocery shop is open from June to September and offers bread and pastries. In Solenzara, 12 minutes by car, you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, banks and other shops.
Stay and welcome
How does the arrival welcome work?
You will be welcomed on site and given a tour of the property, grounds and amenities. Personalised advice on activities, places to visit and available services will also be provided.
What services are included in the rental?
The rental includes bed linen with beds made on arrival, bathroom towels, guest towels, beach towels, toiletries, end-of-stay cleaning, as well as daily cleaning four days per week from 8:30 am to 2 pm.
Are sheets and towels included?
Yes, bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are included and replaced if necessary.
Family, pets and amenities
Is the villa suitable for children?
Yes, Villa Favone is suitable for families with children. On request, baby equipment is available, including a travel cot with linen, high chair, changing table, baby bath, bottle warmer and baby monitor.
Are pets allowed?
A small dog may be accepted, provided it is accustomed to living indoors. Please inform us in advance.
What outdoor amenities are available?
The property has a heated infinity pool, 200 m² of terraces, a petanque court, a professional summer kitchen with barbecue, an outdoor bar and an electric vehicle charging point.
Activities
Can I hire a boat during my stay?
Yes, we recommend Marine Location in Porto-Vecchio, which offers boats with or without a skipper. Pick-up can be arranged via a tender on Favone beach or directly at Solenzara port, approximately 12 minutes by car. Website : www.marine-location.fr/
Booking conditions
What are the payment terms?
A deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is required upon signing the contract. The balance must be paid before arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?
For cancellations 45 days or more before the stay, the deposit is fully refunded. Between 15 and 44 days before the stay, 50% of the deposit is refunded. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, the deposit is retained.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit of 6,000 euros is required. It can be paid by cheque, which will not be cashed and will be returned on departure, or by bank transfer before arrival, refunded within 48 to 72 hours after departure. In case of damage to property, furniture or fixtures, the security deposit may be partially or fully retained.
